Kings of Convenience are my favorite group ever, so it’s about time I featured them. They’re from Norway, and I think the proper term for their genre is “indie folk-pop”. Both of these songs are from Riot On an Empty Street, which in my opinion has their best work.

The first song, Cayman Islands, has the soothing feel that is shared by the majority of their songs, and this track is one of my favorites. Consequently, it’s also the one song I know how to play on a guitar.

I’d Rather Dance With You is actually the first song that I ever heard by them, and the music video is truly excellent.
